I am a long-time flight enthusiast.
It is my craft - my passion.
I am an artisan.
I love flight, always have.
I engage the material and immaterial; flights of fancy like
the "Stealth Fighter" and "Naboo Fighter" to aircraft used
in battle like the "Black Widow" and the "Warthog".
My imagination is ceaseless - fanciful- fantastical even!
I enjoy fantasy and the "real". Perhaps we were of like mind and we
met at some point in our lifetime - perhaps not.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy the pages herein of crafts that I have
both glued together and painted, or drafted, carved out of wood
and painted with my own hands - detail for detail.
This is no ordinary collection - I started this collection years ago.
What you see here, within these web pages, represents
approximately 7% of my total model collection
I worked on this collection over a lifetime - about 40 years - in combination with
serving in the Navy in 2 wars, working in the police department, performing community
work, having a 30+ year career at the Housing Authority & Urban Development,
having and raising 3 children in one family, then rearing 2 more children in my
second household, not to mention the cousins, friends, nieces and nephews,
and nieces' nieces I most assuredly took a special interest in.
If I could have sprouted wings and flown around the globe from country
to country, I certainly would have. Like I said, I love flight. I always
have, and I enjoyed creating this extensive collection.
I hope you have at least half the fun and enjoyment looking at it
that I did in creating these models throughout my lifetime.
